David has worked in the LIS sector for 30 years in a variety of roles, such as: indexer, cataloguer, editor and project manager in both the public and private sectors. David works for Education and Training Boards Ireland as Digital Systems Librarian. Before this David worked as systems librarian at Dublin Business School where he aslo worked upon the DBS Business Review journal. David is a former chair of the ASL section of the Library Association of Ireland (LAI) and is currently a member of the LAI's Open Scholarship group.
